       GET READY, GET SET, AND HERE WE GO!

On behalf of the 99^th Sage-N-Sun Festival Committee, I would like to welcome you to our festival filled, with thrills, fun and sun!

Great things are happening and you don’t want to miss any of it.!!   The theme for this year’s festival is “Flag Of our Country”.

Thursday night the Youth Parade, hosted by the Ephrata Rotary Club, will tickle all those that are young at heart.  The theme for this years Youth Parade is “Make Dreams Real”.  Line up is 6:15 to 6:45 pm in the Parking Lot on the corner of 2^nd NW Ave. and C. St. NW.  Starting time for the parade is 7:00 p.m. with awards being presented immediately following the parade at the courthouse lawn area on C Street. NEW ITEM:  Hot off the drawing board is another NEW ITEM for this years festival.  FRIDAY NIGHT, JUNE 13^TH FROM 8 TO 10 P.M.TROY “T-BONE LUCAS” AND HIS GIRLS WILL DO A PERFORMANCE TO REALLY GET OUR WEEKEND OFF WITH A BANG. DON’T MISS THIS EVENING OF FUN AND GOOD MUSIC AT THE COURTHOUSE LAWN AREA ON THE GRAND STAG

Saturday is our biggest day of all, Entertainment, Food, Crafts, Parade and much much more.

New Item this year is the Ephrata Farmers Market in the Downtown Plaza will be kicking off there season at 8 a.m. and run till 1 p.m. 

They offer a continuing high quality of local produce and fun for the season to come. 

This year’s pre-parade starting at 10:15 a.m. will be filled with Tenino doing their routines for the audience to enjoy.  You don’t want to miss the precision motor cycle group. 

TheChristian Motor Cycle Association will lead off the Pre-Parade at 10:15 a.m. preparing the crowd for the treat to come. Check out their web site also.    They will do a motor cycle demonstration during this pre-parade time as well. They are having their yearly rally here in Ephrata and they are staging at the EphrataHigh School, and send a welcome to all that wish to come and join them.   After the parade they will line up and show off those beautiful bikes for the spectators to view.   We should see at least 500 representatives from CMCA from all over the nation wandering our streets during the Festival.  Be sure to say Hi to these people and welcome them to our community.

TheGrand Parade kicks off at 11:00 a.m. with the theme of “Flag of our Country”.  What better way to show those who help to secure our safety how much we appreciate our freedoms that they help defend.  A special Thank You goes out to McKay Healthcare and RehabilitationCenter for hosting our Royalty Luncheon for our visiting Royalty after the parade.  This is an important piece in inter community relations and we really want them to know how much we appreciate their participation in the Sage-N-Sun Festival.  It is because of businesses like there’s that this festival continues to thrive and get bigger and better every year.

 The parade concludes just in time for the Entertainment at the Courthouse Lawn Area to begin.  We will spotlight a wide selection of amazing local talent, on Saturday and Sunday for everyone’s enjoyment. Show starts at Noon on Saturday till 6 p.m. and again on Sunday at noon ending at 5 p.m.

While you are listening to the show you can eat great food that is offered through the variety of food vendors.  Of course if shopping is something you like to do, their will be a great selection of booths for you to view and spend your money at.   Our location is set up for you to have a wonderful time in a shaded, fun filled area during the day.    

Of course the whole community has a multitude of events happening all over town during the weekend, from Races at the Race track, Quilt show at the High School, Library Book Sale, Fun Run if you like to run and compete at the Middle School, Cruize to Oasis – Classic Cars,  to swimming at Splash Zone.
