Presidents Message

2012 Our Families, Are Ephrata!

We want you want to be a part of our family!

As President of the Sage-N-Sun Festival Committee, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our fair city of Ephrata.

We on the committee hope you enjoy your visit to our community and feel we have put together a wide selection of events for you, and your family members to enjoy during your stay with us.  Be sure to check out the Events page and take a look at some of the photos that are on our web site.

This is Sage-N-Sun’s 102nd year.  Over the years, the Sage-N-Sun Festival has been known by many names such as “The Freedom Festival, the Sagebrush Olympics, Ephrata Days, and of course our current name “Sage-N-Sun Festival” which has stuck and fits our community and surroundings.   Our little happy face sun logo seems to say it all, “Come and enjoy fun in the sun” during the Sage-N-Sun Festival the 2nd weekend of June.

We now have an ambassador in the “Sun Bug” that travels from community to community, to send out invitations for all to come and visit Ephrata and the Sage-N-Sun Festival.  You can come down to the stage and take a photo with the loveable little “Sun Bug” on Saturday or Sunday.

Be sure to stop by the Sage-N-Sun information tent (to the left of the Grand Stage), say hi, and sign in our guest book.  We would love to visit with you and see where you are from, if you have ever been to the festival before, and how you are enjoying yourself.

Sincerely,

Michelle Clark

President, Sage-N-Sun Festival Committee
